The main goal of this project was to deliver a mobile optimized website that looks great while loading fast at the same time. A carefully designed UI was implemented using the latest standards in css with just a sprinkle of jQuery, in order to achieve optimal loading speeds on mobile and great visuals on desktop and tablets.

Due to the client’s requirements and the short implementation timeframe, the backend platform of choice was Wordpress. We crafted a custom theme that focused on ease-of-use when inputting data and managing the travel offers.

Since imagery is the main focus of a vacations website, the loading performance received some extra attention in order to deliver a great user experience on mobile devices and slow connections.
